Diana Hassel, DVM, PhD. DACVS, DACVECC

Dr. Diana Hassel is an Associate Professor of Equine Emergency Surgery and Critical Care at Colorado State University. She completed her DVM, PhD and equine surgical residency at the University of California, Davis, and is board certified in both large animal surgery and equine emergency & critical care. She currently runs the equine emergency service and is the Equine Section Head at Colorado State University. Her research interests are in equine colic, the gastrointestinal microbiome and endotoxemia.
