If you can run fluids, you can provide easy, safe and effective analgesia – it’s that easy! Constant rate infusions have multiple advantages over repeat injections of drugs for control of pain and they can easily be accomplished in ANY practice. Furthermore, a wide variety of drugs are useful in CRIs, allowing the practitioner to individualize therapy. The use of CRIs will be discussed and dosages will be provided.
