The precorneal tear film can be difficult to examine but the consequences of poor health in this area can be enormous. How to evaluate it, what to look for that affects it, and how to determine the pathology associated with a poor tear film will be discussed. Case management of the problems is the focus.

Dr. MacLaren is based in Salt Lake City providing service to the surrounding mountain states and southern four corners area. Her special interest include tear film disorders and corneal disease. Nicole is an owner of eye care for animals and trains residents in the largest training program in the US.
