Ocular Diagnostics: What are you Seeing?

A full systematic examination will be discussed. History taking is critical as well as the signalment and systemic condition of the patient. This lecture will hit on some areas potentially missed: evaluating vision, symmetry of the patient, what if tonometry is not available, proper interpretation of the tear test, how to use stain, when to do cultures/cytology, appropriate use of radiology.

Nicole MacLaren DVM, DACVO

Dr. MacLaren is based in Salt Lake City providing service to the surrounding mountain states and southern four corners area. Her special interest include tear film disorders and corneal disease. Nicole is an owner of eye care for animals and trains residents in the largest training program in the US. Excellent patient care, client education, and creating a team with the family veterinarian are of utmost importance for a healthy outcome.
