Module 3: Introduction to a variety of foreign animal, USDA Program and reportable diseases and contains a list of which diseases are applicable to Category I and Category II accredited veterinarians. Information about reporting diseases and the steps in a foreign animal disease investigation are provided. Additional training opportunities for accredited veterinarians are also included along with a multitude of resources and learning opportunities.

Gregory Ramos DVM, MPVM

Dr. Ramos graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. He received his DVM and MPVM degrees from University of California-Davis. He spent 7 years in large animal practice in California and Nevada. Dr. Ramos joined USDA-APHIS Veterinary Services in 2003 and spent 5 years as a field VMO in CA. He is currently an Epidemiologist for USDA-APHIS-VS-SPRS District 6 and is located in Carson City, Nevada
